The Austrian Development Agency (ADA), has been delegated by the European Union (EU) to implement a strategic project focusing on development of Green Agriculture in Armenia - EU Green Agriculture Initiative in Armenia (EU-GAIA) project. The project is funded by the European Union (€ 9.7 million) and co-funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation (€ 2 million).
One of the main strategic objectives of the EU-GAIA Project is “Developing and improving the policy, legal and regulatory framework creating enabling environment for the development of Green Agriculture in Armenia”. One of activities for the achievement of this objective is the “Strategic review of policies and legal framework for Green Agriculture in Armenia”. The Economic Research and Development Support Centre (ERDSC) has been contracted by the ADA to carry out this assignment.

The overall objective of the project is to analyse analyse the promises made by the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the Governmental Programme 2019 and implementation of the policy objectives of Government Programme in order to ensure public oversight over it.

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the protection of children labour rights and exclusion of possible work trafficking, by increasing awareness and skills of high-school students, parents, teachers and employers.

Project 23
The overall objective of the Project is to provide support to the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in digitalising the production of Certificates of Origin for exporters. This will contribute to the broader e-governance effort in Armenia and should help reduce opportunities for corruption in the certification process as well as increase efficiency and reduce costs for business wanting to export goods.
